Current, Past, and Future Research

What we do

Faculty and students affiliated with LaSSI are currently conducting social psychological research on topics like the following:
(1) status and power processes in interaction,
(2) emotions and social identies,
(3) justice and legitimation processes,
(4) social networks.
Our research has close ties with similar sociological traditions including work in affect control theory and group processes more generally.
